We recommend: Nowhere
Nowhere is inspired by Burning Man and takes place in the stunning Spanish desert. Completely different to anything you have attended before, Nowhere is created by YOU. All the event organisers provide is the beautiful, desolate landscape and the rest is created by the participants – there are no big-name DJs, no paid performances, nothing can be bought or sold, and nothing can be left behind, requiring you to be completely self-reliant.
Conditions can be harsh and working in the searing sun can be difficult, yet Nowhere is an incredible experience, unifying the participants in the common goal of creating something truly wonderful. In 2011, Nowhere runs from 5–10 July, however participants eager to arrive early to help with set-up or stay later for clear-up are very welcome.

Seven guiding principles of Nowhere
1. Inclusion
Nowhere welcomes participation, and welcomes and respects new members. The only prerequisite is that participants be over 18.
2. No commerce
Bring it because you can’t buy it, give it because you can. Nowhere has embraced the Burning Man principle of gifting, giving something unconditionally without expecting anything in return. At Nowhere, there is no sponsorship, advertising or commercial transactions.
3. Self-reliance
You are responsible for your own well-being, so discover your inner boy/girl scout! You are expected to make your own way to the site, provide your own food, water, shelter, sunscreen and anything else you may require.
4. Self-expression
Nowhere offers the freedom to be creative in a spirit of acceptance. Participants are requested to respect the individual’s rights to express themselves.
5. Leave no trace
Create something from nothing, and leave nothing behind. Nowhere respects the environment and we ask all participants to keep the site tidy during the event and clean up when you leave.
6. Participation
Get involved! This is not an event for spectators – find something to do. The success of Nowhere as an event relies on the participation of individuals working together and playing together. There are many, many ways to participate and all are valued.
7. Responsibility
Participants assume responsibility for their welfare and encourage other participants to behave responsibly. We ask that all participants consider whether their actions are safe for themselves and others. Participants are asked to respect the local community and environment.

Every month Vive la France at Favela Chic has brought you incredibly talented guest performers from the beautiful country of Camembert. For this special occasion, the oh-so-bizarre and divine acts Le KKC Orchestra and La Caravane Passe, head to RichMix for something quite extraordinary.

Fiscorn harmonies and a mixture of gypsy rock and cabaret; these guys are pioneers in a world where new music is a rarity and originality golden. They’re a retro, futuristic trip to the moon…and France…and Eastern Europe…and now, London.

A coterie of London’s premier female cabaret and burlesque performers have got together to reconvene this prestigious sorority, with a sassy 21st century spin, for a night that’s very funny, very clever, very sexy and very memorable.

We recommend you check out Steamboat Bordello which has to be the most original party this All Hallows’ Eve.

Starting from Tower Pier at 5pm, the boat will pass through Tower Bridge (which will open especially for the occasion) and will head towards the Thames Barrier before returning and disembarking at St Katharine’s Dock at 10pm.
It’s hosted by our friends at Last Days of Decadence, who are offering a £5 discount to White Mischief guests. To get the discount, visit Ticketweb, pull down Promo Offer 2, and type in “whitemischief50″ as the promo code.
