White Mischief is proud to announce the line-up for our Steampunk Concert:
Genre-definers ABNEY PARK headline with their only London show.
Supported by full sets from chap-hop super flyweight PROFESSOR ELEMENTAL
and steampunk fusion band SUNDAY DRIVER.
PLUS a selection of steampunk art and craftspeople (see below!)
This evening is focused on the music alone and will end in time for last trains home. Unlike White Mischief weekend nights those aged 16 to 18 are welcome (please contact us in advance to arrange this).
Guests are welcome to come in civvies, street clothes or steampunk garb – it’s your choice!

THE MUSICIANS
Post-apocalyptic aeronauts of questionable morals, Abney Park bring clockwork guitars, belly dancers, flintlock bassists, middle-eastern percussion and violent violin creating their unique blend of world and dance music. Corsets and cummerbunds ahoy! Abney Park’ll go down with Tesla-powered keyboards blazing in one riotous dervish of a performance. New album Ancient World will be released later this year.

Sunday Driver combine a steampunk visual aesthetic with exotic and fantastical soundscapes incorporating asian elements alongside instruments such as harp and clarinet. Described by author Robert Rankin as “one of my very favourites”, by Sepiachord as “quietly surreal” and by the Steampunk Workshop as a “real, honest to god, talented ensemble”, Sunday Driver’s music has been played on BBC Radio 6, Radio 4 and the Asian Network. Their new album “The Mutiny” is released this April with video The Concubine Waltz online on YouTube.

Pillar of the tea-drinking community and sporter of fighting trousers, Professor Elemental introduces hiphop to steampunk, creating his own inimitable blend of chap-hop. Imagine, if you will, a cross between Sherlock Holmes, Flight of the Conchords, Jay-Z, a cream tea and a badger in a hat – quite something, eh?
PLUS A VARIETY OF STEAMPUNK CRAFTSPEOPLE SELLING THEIR WARES – DO BRING CASH!
