wm3.jpgIt won’t be long before our artwork is ready and flyers start hitting the streets. But for now we can give you a sneak preview of the line-up for our show on Saturday June 7, which is entitled “Around The World In 80 Days”. This time there’s an international flavour, with the Afrobeat flavours of Tough Love, the Turkish beats and Sufi dancers of Oojami, French petit gypsy swing band Ta Mere, the brilliant Ebony Bones and a whole planet’s worth of circus and vaudeville, from swordswallowing to aerial acrobatics to snake charming. Read on for further details!

The main stage will feature your hosts and co-founders of White Mischief, “tribal pop” band Tough Love; London/Turkish band Oojami; Ruby Blues’s outrageous electro band Hooligan Night; aerial circus artiste Mam’zelle Fifi; Victorian comedy troupe The Penny Dreadfuls; and, as compere, Guinness World Record holder and one of the last surviving female swordswallowers, Miss Behave.

On the second stage is the superb Ebony Bones; London/American chamber electro band The Outside Royalty; “cheeky jazz” singer Tricity Vogue; and compere Dusty Limits.

Elsewhere in the building you will experience An Audience with Phileas Fogg; the Hall of Oracles; Spanish snake charmer Seffi; and French petit gypsy jazz combo Ta Mere.

But that’s not all! In between the cabaret and the bands, as well as late into the night, we have some of the finest DJs you’ll encounter anywhere: Todd Hart, of the Dalston Oxfam Shop blog and Durr, playing an all-African set; Scratchy, resident DJ at Gypsy Hotel and formerly the tour DJ for the Clash; Lady Kamikaze of the Black Cotton Club; Dickon Edwards of Fosca, who thrilled the crowds upstairs at last November’s White Mischief; The Broken Hearts, whose single on Mute Records is a joy to behold; and Sheriff Marshall Lawman and Theodora Goes Wild, from Nashville-on-Thames and Shugapush.

For a limited time only we have a few early-bird tickets available at £10, so book now while the price is low.
