Dear Mischief Makers
The venue is decorated, the acts are rehearsed and some of the performances are really looking quite out of this world! The aerial acts in particular are brilliant and Archibald Floss’s sideshow is frightening in its eccentricity.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you and we’ve sold a smidge over 75% of the tickets. While we prefer to sell out (and this is the first show of ours that hasn’t sold out in advance) it does mean that the party should prove even more enjoyable than ever for those of you who have tickets, as the crushes experienced at some of our previous shows will be minimised and the queues for the bar will be smaller.
There will be an ideal number of Mischief Makers present, including some of our best-dressed revellers. That said we can see from the Facebook group that a few people are dropping out thanks to illness (or possibly sunstroke). So because this is the first show of ours that hasn’t completely sold out in advance, there is definitely still room for a few more. The online ticket booking form at http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user/?region=gb_london&query=detail&event=313462 is going to be operational for a little while longer so if you’re sitting at your computer, Blackberry or iPhone right now, get yourself up and out to one of the most mind-boggling shows in town! If you have friends who are wavering, remember the dress-up bit is encouraged but it’s not compulsory.
We’ll have room for walkups, so the venue is Scala, 275 Pentonville Road, King’s Cross, London. Door is open between 9pm and 1am. Finally we encourage you to arrive as early as you can – in particular to catch the Fitzrovia Radio Hour, whose first show is at 9.30… all the shows finish by 12:30 so don’t be late! See you there Tobias
