Many thanks for your feedback.

I have spent some time today checking every site on the list and as a result have deleted five of the companies listed. In addition I have added about five new costume / clothing sites of which I have become aware.

Your comment about pointing people towards dead links is well-taken: unfortunately I cannot do so much about the quality of the sites themselves. As I’m sure you’ll appreciate, a lot of the costume providers are small businesses who do it for the love of it and are not big corporate players with glossy websites.

Hopefully my work today will be useful for other guests – the reason for providing the list is purely to inspire and encourage people to dress up – I get nothing out of it aside from the pure joy of seeing people dress up.

A lot of broken links on this page – you should update it. And while I’m sure a lot of the stock is fabulous, some of the websites are pretty poor and are rather disappointing to visit. Doesn’t do you any favours to point to dead/poor websites.

Hi,
For a great selection of costumes we used Mad Hatters Fancy Dress. They delivered to our door and collected it after the weekend and i have never seen such a fab selection. They have everything! From Vintage to period right up to modern day- and their prices are really great. We highly recommend them for a stress free service.
